I just started using DND Beyond and am loving it. However one of my players bought a donkey and we are wondering if there is a way to transfer equipment over to the donkey so the player is not over encumbered. Or will we have to go to pen and paper for the donkeys inventory?
This is not currently possible to do in DDB. It is on the road map, but there's no eta. One option is to turn off encumbrance tracking all together for your character.

Okay thanks for letting me know. I will just have him keep track of the donkeys inventory on paper
Another option is to create a "character" named donkey and track inventory there.
Perpetually annoyed that Eldritch Knights can't use Eldritch Blast, Eldritch Smite, and Eldritch Sight.
