what any three spells would you take if you could take any 6th lvl dnd spell or under At will(like cantrips), and in real life, without any need for component costs
Personally, I'd take Heal Counterspell (or dispel magic) Inflict wounds
Id pick those three cuz heal could make me decent money, counterspell, if anyone else takes a harmful spell, I can block it maybe, and Inflict wounds for self defense
Revivify(I'd likely need to get a lot of diamonds)
Creation
I can turn into any animal I'd ever want (I probably count as at least level 1 or 2), I can make sure people don't die if I come across them about to die, and I can easily make anything I want.
Hosted a battle between the Cult of Sedge and the Forum Countershere(Done now). I_Love_Tarrasques has won the fight, scoring a victory for the fiendish Moderators.
Hollow unbreakable arrows are the most OP common magic item, and my current method of coming up with insane combat shenanigans.
if you make a steel pipe with one end closed and a nozzle on the other, you can enlarge it, fill with any liquid, and then drop concentration, creating a high pressure squirt gun. (or a pipe bomb, depending if it holds)
Carric Aquissar, elven wannabe artist in his deconstructionist period (Archfey warlock) Lan Kidogo, mapach archaeologist and treasure hunter (Knowledge cleric) Mardan Ferres, elven private investigator obsessed with that one unsolved murder (Assassin rogue) Xhekhetiel, halfling survivor of a Betrayer Gods cult (Runechild sorcerer/fighter)
prestidigitation, fabricate, and awaken for fun tricks, easy crafting, and loyal talking animals although detect thoughts, mass suggestion, and raise dead are also close ones
Teleport Via Plants for easy travel, Unseen Servant so I don't have to do things like vacuum or wash my dishes anymore, not sure what I'd select as my third.

Find your own truth, choose your enemies carefully, and never deal with a dragon.
"Canon" is what's factual to D&D lore. "Cannon" is what you're going to be shot with if you keep getting the word wrong.
In real life as is, or if D&D were real? Someone mention Counterspell, but that is either essential or a complete waste, depending on whether others are using spells too.

If you're not willing or able to to discuss in good faith, then don't be surprised if I don't respond, there are better things in life for me to do than humour you. This signature is that response.
Heal and Raise Dead - these two spells would provide too much good to the real world that I cannot fathom not taking both. Even if one had no interest in helping others, the ability to never be sick again and to stave off death itself from your allies would be so invaluable and/or profitable that they would be the "right" answer for all but the most chaotic evil of individuals.
For my third--Mass Suggestion. Though it would be an incredibly icky spell if abused, there's plenty of ways where a simple nudge in the right direction (even if only lasting 24 hours) could be extremely beneficial.... provided it does not become a temptation to over-utilize it to the point of eliminating the free will of others.
Arcane gate: gives the whole party a quick escape hatch if they need to run away fast. this is better than dimension door since you can take the other members of the party with you as well.
Counterspell: As long as you have you reaction you can just counter any spell that comes your way.
Invisibility:lets you sneak around without being seen whenever you want.
I debated going with mass suggestion or dominate person since there some of my favorite spells, and could be used to influence or control people on repeat. In the end though, I chose invisibility over these two since mind control would probably be found out quite quickly.

BoringBard's long and tedious posts somehow manage to enrapture audiences. How? Because he used Charm Person, the #1 bard spell!

For those saying Heal and the various cleanse sickness/resurrection spells: you are now the single most valuable living thing on the planet. Your life will not belong to you anymore. You will be captured and your ability to Jesus away sickness, injury and even death at the merest touch will be utilized by the capital-P Powerful to extend their own lives and serve their agendas. You will not be enriching humanity. Humanity is not noble enough to allow you to use those gifts as you see fit. You will be a tool of those powerful enough to imprison you and your life will be misery.
Sucks, but it is what it is.
As for my picks?
Mage Hand, because laziness and also because remote manipulation of objects even through barriers is potentially very lucrative without being so vital that I run afoul of Humans Are Bastards like the healers.
Fly, for a myriad of reasons but primarily because I just freaking want to. Even if only for ten minutes a day, I'd get to live the childhood dreams of just about everybody.
And either Alter Self or Widogast's Transmogrification. Alter Self is the safe* choice and lets me cope with bad bouts of dysphoria (and also enjoy the best diving vacations), but Transmogrification would settle the matter of dysphoria once and for all, on top of letting me help others with the same issue. It runs the risk of me getting locked up and turned into a living tool like the healers though, so.....hm. Hard call to make.

Raise dead.
guidance
healing word
And now, suddenly, I see why I gravitate toward clerics.
Unseen servant, scrying, dominate person.
Or contingency, revivify, and heal. Then I could do immortality pretty well.
If everyone else also gets spells, I'd replace something with glove of invulnerability.
I have a weird sense of humor.
I also make maps.(That's a link)
mage hand or prestidigitation, unseen servant, floating disk #practical
Helpful rewriter of Japanese->English translation and delver into software codebases (she/e/they)
Geas, of course. Also dominate person and modify memory.
I would choose locate object, mage hand, and fly
i would choose locate object because I’m always losing things
edit: I might also choose fabricate so I can make an instant log cabin in the woods

All fairly obvious for reasons.
I can’t remember what’s supposed to go here.

Prestidigitation, lesser restoration, and alter self all for purely selfish reasons. ;)
