I would like to add the "Vehicle (Air)" as skill that players (or just myself) can select as a Tool skill choice. Currently, the only options are Land, Water and Space.
Is there any way to do add this as a selectable option during character creation?
(I am aware I can add this in after the fact on the online character sheet through the custom features there, but I would prefer to have this as a new skill that is selectable during character creation and would like to know if that is at all possible.)
I am guessing it is not, since the customization Type drop down menu on the My Homebrew Creations page does not give an options for either Skill or Tools.
Air vehicles aren’t custom. They’re RAW. They’re in two official books as a tool proficiency. D&D Beyond’s failure to implement them as a tool proficiency is a bug.
Just add it manually on the sheet. It's like 10 seconds. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Nope, DDB hasn't implemented customizable/adding new skills, afaik.
