Like a campaign where every single player character has to be a Druid. Whatever circle or race they want still, but everyone is a Druid, or fighter, or wizard, or monk, etc etc etc.
also, if you have. Please share your stories and experiences from it:

But death is a gentle mistress with a sweet embrace, and you owe her a debt of restitution. Life is not a gift, it is a loan."
I ran a one shot all cleric game, all from the same God, sent to save an orphanage from being shut down. Yes, much was pulled from the Blues Brothers. We had great fun, and it was proof that clerics are way more than just healers. On a related not I've run a few game where everyone is the same race. An all tabaxi one shot, an all aarakocra one shot, and currently a short campaign of all aarakocra.
In both cases I give the players a bonus feat at level one to help those who pick a race/class combo that isn't optimized, and have offered to handwave away issues that might come up ...the all aarakocra game doesn't need to worry about heavy armor preventing flying, for example. If a group is willing to work together to be all the same race or class, and are going to have fun creating those roleplaying bonds, then I'm happy to do whatever it takes to make the numbers work and not penalize them for that party cohesion!
I would love to play in an all Cleric campaign. Just imagine a party of 4-6 Clerics all with Spiritual Weapon & Spirit Guardians up at the same time! :D

That sounds amazing. Just a nomadic band of Holy Rollers coming in and saving the town/ school/ orphanage would be awesome.
I'd love to play in one like that. But if you didn't have healing... Oof. The DM would need to make sure they have lots of healing potions/access to healing spells.
Imagine all barbarians and how much damage they'd do!

Nope. It was based on the Jocks Machina idea. No healers, all tanks just running all over everything. And since it's a one-shot, if you're out, you're out.
Never done it but I'd like the idea. Some classes would definitely work better than others, though. A group of lawful good leaning clerics could be insanely effective, and the domains would provide great flavor. Fighters would be cool as well: since there's so much roleplay wiggle room, there could be a ton of creative, distinct characters, not to mention a survivable class! Wizards or other glass cannons, on the other hand, would make for a ton of super-quick fights that basically come down to initiative. Druids would be difficult to pull off without veteran roleplayers, because there's only so many archetypes, they'd risk all feeling the same. And it's hard (if fun) to imagine a party of warlocks, all serving different patrons, ever quite getting along!
But the arguments over who's patron is better would be hilarious, same for clerics if they worship different deities. Some smoldering rivalries coming out.

Just a chorus during rests, "Would you like a pamphlet about my deity?"
I’ve done this before. I am surprised less people do this. Even when 2 players pick the same race and subclass, they still come out very different characters because of backgrounds and then the difference in grits flaws ideals and bonds.
I’ve probably played................. 10,000 hours worth of D&D 5e total at this point. And the single class campaigns I have partaken in were far and beyond more fun than any of the others. But I can see why a lot of people wouldn’t try them or find them as fun. It puts more of an onus on everything non-combat, and it makes your character completely identical if you’re the kind of person who likes to min-max, and there’s another person that likes to min max.
all druids is the way to go if you ask my recommendation.
I think a good idea would be to do one of these campaigns, but you start at level 2 or higher, and each character is multiclassed between the same classes, like Cleric/Bard.
The Mir Brothers Travelling Theatre Company - a company of all-half-elf, all-bard-multiclass performers slash assassins. On Athas, of course.

We did years ago when the Complete Fighter's Handbook for 2e came out. It was pretty fun.
I've thought about running a one-shot where I get both of my groups together and everyone playing a Barbarian and just seeing how far that got.
Roll initiative.

I've always dreamed of doing an all Bard traveling band one shot, but haven't gotten around to doing it just yet.

I have not, as yet, been able to convince any of my players to do a one shot of all Tortle Bards who are a barbershop quartet.
