If the monster manual is coming out in 2025, when is the DMG and the PHB coming out? September still?
The announced release dates haven't changed AFAIK - PHB in September, DMG in November, MM in February. Some content creators will be getting early access I believe.
One of my friends pointed out how hilarious it is that Minsc isn't paying any attention to the giant beholder behind him. Never change, Minsc.
He is absolutely getting ready to jump down at the ogre(?) on the bottom right, and will probably get scooped by a tentacle mid-flight, as is tradition.

Noticed that in addition to the obvious glowing green eyes, another difference between this beholder and the current MM one is that it has a second set of teeth.
I really like this cover, and so does the wife. Shame that we probably won't be getting it physically - the physical MM just really doesn't work for us at the table. Too much of a faff.

That’s because Boo is in the air right over Minsc’s elbow, and Boo will always go for the eyes, so it’s got the beholder covered. But it does look like Boo is more worried about the displacer beast.

D&D StaffI think my favorite is the modron on the back cover, but it is (otherwise) a very threatening scene.

So far the standard covers win for me. The collector covers aren't bad though.

I love this so much. Conflicted between standard and alt book covers as ever so can't wait to see how the alt MM turns out!
