There need to be a better way to add tokens and assets to Maps.  I have to clone the commoner to make NPCs.  And i cannot add wagons or other items to maps.  Am I missing something?

The commoner is about it for NPC's, though you should be able to rename them to fit your needs. And the only option is to draw the items on the map with map tools or get your hands on a grid map image with all the items you want on it and then import that map. Not great choices but click the feedback button and send in your needs to the developers. They have been adding features in.

You could just make some monsters for everything you need a token for. Like, make a monster and name it wagon and give it a wagon token.

Head over to the feedback forum and make a request.   The map feature is still in alpha so lots of stuff still to come.

Yea, that is what I am currently doing.  I don't like it.

Theyre adding stuff with every patch to Maps. Hopefully theyll add a feature to add tokens without having to make a NPC for each.
