I love D&D Beyond for the content it has but I cannot justify spending X+ dollars on the books I already own. Am I allowed to create private homebrew content that I only share with myself and my players that are basically copied versions of the books I own? I would still sign up for the subscription that allows me to share my content with my players. This would simulate the same basic behavior of being in a room together and playing, would still provide monetary value to D&D Beyond and avoid the problem of buying books twice.
Hey all,
I love D&D Beyond for the content it has but I cannot justify spending X+ dollars on the books I already own. Am I allowed to create private homebrew content that I only share with myself and my players that are basically copied versions of the books I own? I would still sign up for the subscription that allows me to share my content with my players. Thanks!
Yes, you can replicate book content as homebrew for private use,
And you don't need a subscription to share private homebrew.
