I’m a little confused on the description of learning and replacing cantrips on the Wizard class:
“Cantrips. You know three Wizard cantrips of your choice. Whenever you finish a Long Rest, you can replace one of your cantrips from this feature with another Wizard cantrip of your choice.
When you reach Wizard levels 4 and 10, you learn another Wizard cantrip of your choice, as shown in the Cantrips column of the Wizard Features table.”
It makes it sound like you only actually know 3 cantrips, but can replace them with any other cantrips you ‘know’ after a long rest, which should be impossible, and then you can learn 2 more cantrips later on.
Would the more appropriate description be “you can prepare up to 3 cantrips from your Wizard spell list per day, and can prepare an additional cantrip at Wizard levels 4 and 10”?
At each Long Rest, you change one of your Cantrips for a different one. If you wanted to replace all of them, it would take three Long Rests, because you can only swap one at a time.
You can't swap all three in one go.
At level 4, you can know four Cantrips at any given time. At level 10, you can know five Cantrips at any given time.

If you're not willing or able to to discuss in good faith, then don't be surprised if I don't respond, there are better things in life for me to do than humour you. This signature is that response.
Ah ok, and I’m guessing if you do change a cantrip after a long rest, you can change it back at a later point if needed, after another long rest of course

Yes. When taking a Long Rest, you can replace any one of the cantrips you know, regardless of whether it's been replaced before or not.
This is a unique feature of the Wizard class, by the way. Other spellcasters that have cantrips can only replace one when they gain a level.

That's not the same thing.
