Playing in a Critical Role 5.5 game and noticed that the Sleep spell I get from Pallid Elf is set to the 2014 rules. Is there any way to get the 2024 5.5 rules for Sleep in its place? Or for that matter all the spells changed from the legacy versions to the non-legacy versions? Thanks!
You should be able to just pick it. Unless your PC is a 2014 class?

If you want any 5e species to be made for 5.5e. rules you will need to make a homebrew copy and change things. This goes for all 5e species, official and unofficial.

Thanks! A friend also suggested this and that's just what I did. Made a homebrew variant of the species & just replaced the spells to the 5.5 versions.
