I'm starting a new campaign with new players and I'll be the DM.
How does it work if want to create characters and share them with my players so that they can access it on their tablet during the game?
I know I can create a campaign and send a link to my players and they can import their characters, but I don't want them to be able to modify their characters (change stats, add stuff, etc). I'm the one who should do it.
characters belong to players and, as such, they are able to modify them as they choose. If your campaign rules are such that you and your players have agreed that they won't alter the characters, then you'll need to trust them not to do that.
To provide characters for those players, you can create them and add them to the campaign (use the join url yourself) and once there you can "unassign" them - this means that any player joining the campaign can select an unassigned character to become their character. As above though, once they do this, it is their character and they may do what they wish with it. As the DM of that campaign, you still have full edit rights to the characters though.

Is there a way to do it?
Hi there MrKarate,
