So WotC has added a request for Barrier Peaks stuff to put into a Dragon+ article down the road, this gives me hopes for an update on the Expedition to the Barrier Peaks S3 module from 1st edition AD&D. Whay are your hopes coming from this request? Please discuss this, it could be really cool you know.
I think that there are a ton of old modules that could do well with a revamp, The Barrier peaks being on ethat has a good off kilter flavor from most others so far. Although to be fair I assume they would rather continue with the fantasy fare rather than scifi unless they update Spelljammer or some other similar scifantasy setting.

"Where words fail, swords prevail. Where blood is spilled, my cup is filled" -Cartaphilus
"I have found the answer to the meaning of life. You ask me what the answer is? You already know what the answer to life is. You fear it more than the strike of a viper, the ravages of disease, the ire of a lover. The answer is always death. But death is a gentle mistress with a sweet embrace, and you owe her a debt of restitution. Life is not a gift, it is a loan."
