1) So I am trying to keep players unaware of what other player characters are as far as class and race for early plot reasons in a campaign. BUT I noticed that as soon as players joined the campaign everyone's characters were visible. Can they edit settings before adding, to private, and if they do can I still see everything? Trying to get this to work without fiddling too much and giving spoilers.
2) Paid content on the APP/mobile devices. I'm using an Galaxy tab with android, it reads well and I can search - BUT how do I pull up the table of contents? Like if I want to go to certain sections or headers, or jump back and forth do I have to use search and then bookmark everything? or is there a means to get the table of contents to pop up that I am not seeing?
3) I have a lot of DMs Guild digital content - is there any plan for 3rd party content in the future that anyone knows of? Or a means of adding to homebrew 3rd party content privately to be used in campaigns? Trying to clean up integration, and get most of my content consolidated into one or 2 resources. Open to suggestions.
Thanks I'm sure another set of dumb questions will come up in the next 2 weeks....so your patience appreciated.

Fear not: Ranger, Barbarian, Magician, Thief, Cavalier, and Acrobat. That was Venger, the force of evil. I am Dungeon Master, your guide in the realm of Dungeons and Dragons!
I’ll do my best to help out. If anyone smarter comes along (that should be most everyone) hopefully they can correct any errors I make.
Question 1) The site does say, “Toggle the viewing of your character to 'Private' (only you can access your character), or 'Public' (anyone with the link can view your character).” From this, it would indicate that it is not viewable by the DM or anyone if marked private. Race seems like something that would be somewhat hard to hide. If you are a dwarf, gnome or elf, you are going to stand out quite a bit. A half-elf might be able to hide their heritage. But most of it seems like it would be quite evident unless the characters were really making an effort to hide it? I have asked my table when I don’t want them to not look, and they are good about not looking. Hopefully, you can do the same.
Question 2) Tough to say on Android. On IOS, I just tap the screen and the bottom shows up with page indicators, and in the left corner is a “hamburger menu” (three horizontal lines) that when clicked, takes me to the table of contents.
Yeh the hiding info is mostly for the first 4-5 sessions, by that point most should have figured things out, but our first session I don't even want players to know who's a PC or an NPC until they team up, and even with that I have: An half elf passing as human A paladin passing as a mercenary A cleric who's really a spy/rogue as well as a few alignment conflicts with varying moral compasses that will eventually become apparent But I would like to get through the first session without spoilers if not longer. The behaviors of private/public are not defined and I have yet to find settings in a campaign for which materials players can see vs DM.
Found the popup on bottom of the app eventually, thanks. But the initial menu on android is not showing table of contents, which is where I checked first. And there's no "how to" for the interface that I know of.
Thanks again.

Its been a while - haven't DM'd since AD&D, though I have played 2nd ed and 3.5/Pathfinder and a little 5e. Dusting off the world building chops. So I am experienced with D&D, but trying to use new tools and DM a new system and fumbling a bit. THanks for your support.

Sorry if there are obvious answers to these....

That sounds like a great story idea! You're players will love it, I'm sure!
