While I may have been introduced to D&D years ago, I never truly dove into it until a few months ago. I try my best to play as much as I could, but with a rotating schedule, that is nearly impossible.
With all my characters I have created, I want to use them and level them up. Every once in a while, I get lucky and join in a one-shot session with one of my characters; however, this hasn't happened in weeks.
What are some tips for people who wish to play but have uncertain work schedules? Are there any solo materials?

There are some solo adventures on DMsGuild and/or Drive Thru RPG.
Play by Post is another possibility; there is a play by post section of the forums here.
Neither of these options are AL legal, however, if you are wanting to level up characters for AL games.

Can you find a group that plays every other week? Or that plays every week and can accommodate you missing 1 week out of 3?
