A change was made to one of the sourcebooks on the app, prompting me to need to update it (DoIP), where can I check out what was changed?

It probably just has to do with the extra adventures that come with it. Any changes to book wording is usually listed here: https://www.dndbeyond.com/forums/dungeons-dragons-discussion/rules-game-mechanics/8760-official-wizards-of-the-coast-errata

It was likely formatting/tooltips etc.
