Does anyone know where I can find stats for Nurvureem, the shadow dragon? I purchased the Princes of the Apocalypse book, and I can't find her stats in the book, and when I tried looking it up here, the stats are behind a paywall. I refuse to buy the same module twice. Does anyone know where I can find the stats?
the full stats for Nurvureem are fully available on D&D Beyond.
Unfortunately, we can't just give licensed content away for free, so the monster is indeed linked to the purchase of the Princes of the Apocalypse module.
Considering her heritage and abilities in previous editions of D&D, the PoA method of applying a shadow dragon template to a black dragon really does an injustice to her. There is an entry for this in the Monster/Homebrew section of D&D Beyond. It's a starting point, but it leaves her two-dimensional. If you want to make her more interesting, alter it further in line with Ed Greenwood's article, Wyrms of the North, in Dragon #249 (https://www.realmshelps.net/npc/wyrms/nurvureem.shtml). I've been trying to find someone who has already done that, but to no avail.

From the book:
"To create Nurvureem's statistics, apply the shadow dragon template to the adult black dragon statistics in the Monster Manual."
Pretty easy to convert a black dragon to a shadow dragon, which is probably why the book doesn't give her her own stat block.
Considering they made every other variant and story monster stat, I'm really surprised there isn't one for this. I guess they missed one.
