It is honestly my least favorite of the three; it's very dynamic and I absolutely LOVE the color, but it doesn't hit for me the same way the others did.
That said, as an alternate cover art collector, it will still be added to my bookshelf when it releases.

I like it, but it feels off stylistically from the other two alt covers, which is a little disappointing. Also was hoping I'd be beholding another beholder.

Jander Sunstar is the thinking person's Drizzt, fight me.
This one is stylistically different from the other two alternative covers, but is my favorite of the three so I wish they had done the others like this one for uniformities sake. Still, I do prefer Hydro74's 2014 covers over the any of the new ones.
Although, I do like the new regular covers over the 2014 ones. So I'd skip on the alternatives and just go for the new regular ones if I were to purchase any.
So in other words, I can not get the digital and physical for cheaper as a bundle and good luck finding one for sale since it will most likely be sold out day and sold online for more or is there a large stock.

You can't get the bundle discount and the alternative cover no, but then it's a choice of whether you want to save a few dollars or want the limited edition alternative cover. As for finding one you'd need to ask your local game store if they can still order you one. It's not been released yet so there's probably still a chance to get a preorder in
IMNSHO, nothing comes close to Hydro74's alt covers for the 2014 books. Thoroughly modern but also strongly evoking the swords & sorcery old school roots of the game.
With the exception of the Monster Manual, I actually prefer the 2024 regular covers.
Don't really care for the alt '24 covers at all. They feel too cartoonish to me.

Most local game stores I go to order more of the alt covers than the regular covers because that's the only place you can get them. It's not a super limited type of thing, and the alt covers cost the same as the regular covers do. I've seen some stores with alt covers from two or three books back still on the shelves sometimes.
If a local game store has an online store, even better.

I was hoping that was the Emperor but the tentacles look too short, so just a mindflayer. Still, awesome art!

This one is cool, and well done as all of them are!
Of the 6 covers my favorite is the standard Monster Manual
CENSORSHIP IS THE TOOL OF COWARDS and WANNA BE TYRANTS.

The art itself is great, but I feel like it doesn't communicate "Monster Manual" with basically just one monster being featured.
Well technically it has two 😁 and we haven't seen the back cover yet.
Agreed, where's my gold coloring??

I hope the books will be available in Europe at about the same time as in the USA.
Let me put here the front and back covers for all the versions.
How does one get the alternative art ones?
They're exclusive to your local game stores, it's an incentive for people to give their business to them rather than the likes of Amazon
^ what they said. :)
