I’m wondering if this is the correct place for this question. If not, please inform and delete. Thank you.
The question is; Where are any of the “civilizations” mentioned in the work?
I’ve been playing since 1985, and I recall none of these, nor can I find any mention of any of them in any of my reference material. Are they newly created for this content?
Will the work, when released, contain any details on these civilizations, backgrounds, new races etc?
Thank you for your assistance.

It is my understanding that the cultures/civilizations included in The Radiant Citadel are all new to D&D lore. That’s part of the intent of this book.
I believe they are all new worlds. Likely on new planes. I think I read that each will have a gazetteer, though they may vary in their depth. Part of the idea, I think I saw somewhere, is to show people how it’s not as difficult to make a homebrew world as many people think.
