Will I be able to read any source book I purchase through D&D Beyond like an actual ebook on this website or will it just unlock material for the tools? I ask because I would like to read a module or DMG from beginning to end before starting a game.

You will get access the the entire book on this site, pretty much like you can see in he Basic Rules at the moment
