Okay, so yeah, I'm super excited for Rime's release. I run my local Adventurers League and we are beyond (hyuck hyuck) excited for its release, and I was wondering:
Anyone know when it's actually supposed to release here? Will it be after midnight? When have previous books been released similarly?
Any help would be great.
ALSO:
Taking bets:
Fight with a the tarrasque will be part of the adventure and somehow, at/around level 12, the party will be taking on the CR 30 behemoth.
That's a crazy boss fight. I really want to read this adventure already but I am not sure I will continue DMing for my party after we finish our current campaign - someone might want to DM instead of me and will pick this module. Anyway I am so excited for this.
I just can't get excited about this release. I'm sure it's probably well done but nothing about it interests me. It feels like the leftovers of Storm King's Thunder being used to justify a book.
And we still don't even have Tasha's available for pre-order.

Wizards doesn't allow pre-order yet. I'm excited for RotFM
Is the Tarrasque really in this, or am I missing a joke? I mean, I don’t want to rain on the parade, but nothing ruins the horror vibe for me like fantasy-Godzilla.

There will be a scroll that lets you summon the Tarrasque. And despite claiming that it will be a "modern horror" adventure, the review I've read have said that it more whimsical and funny than scary. I would have preferred a modern horror vibe.

Incorrect. The page on the official site suggests you pre-order at your FLGS.
I skimmed through it, so am not bothered by it personally, but is there some sort of spoiler etiquette this thread should be engaged in? I mean a key _find_ in the adventure is just thrown out there in what looks like hours if not minutes of it going live (though the reporting wasn't entirely accurate)....
At the very least move it to DM's only.
From my skim, I'm not sure what I think of the overall adventure yet. There's a lot in it, and a lot of the encounters I like, I worry though that an overall kitchen sink-ness to it may sink the "horror" tone they were going for (it's reputed sources generally have "starkness" as a common element to their successful tone). I'll post something more substantial once I read through the whole thing.

Gotta love how the new spells are wizard only....
WotC is never shy about which classes they love/hate.

So its free on DnDBeyond? I am confused why I have full access to the online version
Doesn't make sense, but sometime dndbeyond does that. I once was able to access GGtR and MOoT from forum link.
And then I refreshed the page and back to the market. Lol
Also LOL what is this
Brain in a Jar
No wonder other sites have all of 5th edition content, security is an after thought.

Jander Sunstar is the thinking person's Drizzt, fight me.
The Brain in a Jar is a classic D&D monster.
Find your own truth, choose your enemies carefully, and never deal with a dragon.
"Canon" is what's factual to D&D lore. "Cannon" is what you're going to be shot with if you keep getting the word wrong.
I just looked through the monsters. I am a bit disappointed that some of them are weaker than I thought they would be, but overall I like them.
For instance, Auril, the Gnoll Vampire, Gnome Mind Flayers, and Xardarok are weaker than I wish they were.
Please check out my homebrew, I would appreciate feedback:
Spells, Monsters, Subclasses, Races, Arcknight Class, Occultist Class, World, Enigmatic Esoterica forms
Oh really I am new to D&D sorry
I am liking the beast section. I can’t wait to wildshape into a walrus. My circle of land:arctic druid is loving the beasts at least.
