So for fun,l decided to make a character useing only die rolls. I used This to roll the dice, and used This to decide what race/class meant what. After rolling the dice, here is what l got.
Race:Teifling
Class:Paladin (prof in persuasion and intimidation)
Abilitys:11 STR&DEX, 13 CON&INT, and 12 WIS&CHR. (rolled in that order with roll 4 D6,drop the lowest)
Background:Sage (Abyssal & celestial languages)
CG,with a Aristocratic life style
with the Characteristics: "I’m willing to listen to every side of an argument before I make my own judgment." "Self-Improvement. The goal of a life of study is the betterment of oneself. (Any)"I sold my soul for knowledge. I hope to do great deeds and win it back." "I speak without really thinking through my words, invariably insulting others."
Any ideas for back story and other things are welcome. For now,l have a boring "He was born to a noble family, and was sent to the church cause he was somehow born a teifling, and the nobles wanted to get rid of the baby, but didn't want to kill him,so they gave the church a bunch of hush money to raise the kid,and then on his 20th birth day,be given 30 gold and be sent as far as possable on some "holy mission". .
Do you have access to XGtE? Lots of backstory tables. Each class has some, but This is Your Life section has lots more. Siblings. Childhood home. Life events. Age. Parents. Enemies. Friends. Freakish events. ...and one can dig further by applying the tables to other characters invented by the XGtE tables - a deep rabbit hole if one's not careful.

Human. Male. Possibly. Don't be a divider. My characters' backgrounds are written like instruction manuals rather than stories. My opinion and preferences don't mean you're wrong. I am 99.7603% convinced that the digital dice are messing with me. I roll high when nobody's looking and low when anyone else can see.🎲 “It's a bit early to be thinking about an epitaph. No?” will be my epitaph.

no,but it is one of the first books l plan on getting (along with the DMG,PHB and MM,but mostly the first 2)
Uncle Fraz was very loving and a great source of happiness. He was always willing to teach you things, show you things and tell you about the world and how it really was. There was nothing you couldn't do in his eyes and he felt you were the champion the world needed to bring the lies and hypocrisy into the light.
Uncle Fraz paid for you to attend a Wizard Academy to get a full grounding in matters of scholarly interest and warned you that the most learned people are often the most deluded and hypocritical.
Shortly after you graduated you recieved word the Uncles Fraz had gone missing and his ship, the Urblo, had gotten wrecked in a storm and it was feared all hands lost. Your swore an Oath that evening to go forth into the world and use what you had learned, both from Uncle Fraz and from the Wizard Academy, and be the hero Uncle Fraz always said you could be.
Note: Uncle Fraz is meant to be the demon lord Fraz Urbluu who works through illusion and lies to lure people into lives of self delusion.
