Armor of Shadows, Fiendish Vigor, Eldritch Mind (nevermind, Warcaster is strictly better), Eldritch Sight, Mask of Many Faces. I would probably take Devil's Sight, but other options exist that aren't complete trash.

Yup, Fiendish Vigor immediately comes to mind especially given how common regular Darkvision is. Devil Sight obviously allows for extra shenanigans, but that doesn’t necessarily put it over the top.

Devil sight is an always on ability that is dramatically better than a 2nd level spell, Darkvision.
All the rest are at will/always on 1st level spells.
I see no contest at all. Not saying there won't be specific cases where you truly need one of the other ones, but as a general rule Devil Sight is the single best invocation that has no prerequisites at all.
Armor of shadows is abusable by an abjuration wizard. Mask if many faces is a ridiculously powerful espionage tool. Fiendish vigor is great on pretty much anybody at low levels.
It's great for a party/campaign that might have the spell Darkness cast in it often. Otherwise, many races already have darkvision, and magical darkness isn't that common, as far as I know.
If you wish to use it as a Tiefling, using it with Darkness from 5th level on, that can be quite powerful. On a rogue with a good enough Dex (or using Tasha's floating score improvement) that would be, indeed, broken.
It already got mentioned in this thread but its worth saying again, Abjuration wizards just got crazy strong if they get Armor of Shadows. If your DM lets you take the average when leveling health, even at 2nd level a decent wizard will get 1.5-2 hit dice of temporary hit points any time they're out of combat.
If your barbarian wants to lean into Int, Wis, or Cha picking Fiendish vigor would be a nice substitute for raising constitution. That would be a weight off of DMs who don't want to exclude an entire class from having social ability checks. It also alleviates the issue of Barbarians not having an easy way to get a high Intimidation.
Eldritch mind would be pretty useful for Circle of the Shepherd. Their 6th level ability just took a hit since the summon spells from Tasha's Cauldron don't have hit dice. Having advantage on maintaining them even through harsh environments would be great. It would just be a question of whether you would take war caster instead so you can cast with your hands full.
Other than that the rest would be based on what the player wants out of their character. Maybe Misty Visions for an illusion wizard saving spell slots? Eldritch blast modifiers for a College of Lore bard? Those all seem kind of niche.
If you're using RAW the bard's feature Magical Secrets let's you add spells only, but Lore bards can get an early version that lets you learn cantrips as well. I'd imagine that would be enough to meet the prerequisite.

Darkvision is a good 2nd level spell for characters who don’t have it by simple dint of belonging to one of many races which have it innately. For the others, it’s not even good as a 1st level one. Just saying, the comparison isn’t that simple.

The Feat does not allow you to take any thing that has a prerequisite unless you are a Warlock.

The Agonizing Blast, Eldritch Spear, Grasp of Hadar, Lance of Lethargy, and Repelling Blast only have the prerequisite of "Know Eldritch Blast cantrip". I would think this feat would work with Magic Initiate or some other way of learning EB. I believe the warlock prerequisite is only for needing a certain number of warlock levels or a certain pact boon.
Man nobody has said it. Assassin Rogue with Mask of Many Faces and expertise in deception would make any of the exotic races viable as assassins in a more classic world (Human, Half-elf, elf, dwarf, halfling dominated).
Nobody has said that you can make the shadow monk's ability to cast darkness as 2 Ki so much better when you can see through the darkness with Devil Sight

Weirdly they can't take the feat tho because they never get the spellcasting or pact slots feature.
I would, however, say blindfighting style is a way to utilize it.
You take the fighter style feat and blind fighting style and you can whoop up on the fools trapped in the dark

Or in a long hallway ... Or a stairwell.
I mean, take an initiate caster feat and anyone can take the eldrich adept

Given the new feat Eldritch Adept, is there any reason not to take Devil Sight? No other invocation is as good for a non-warlock.

Armor of Shadows is much better for an abjuration wizard no contest. You can recharge your ward fully at will.
Otherwise the best bet is generally devilsight or you just pick another feat.

You can't take Eldritch Blast invocations, they have a prerequisite and are thus disqualified.

No. The feat specifically disallows any invocations that have perquisites if you are not a warlock.

Mask of Many Faces is a very potent invocation, and would be a major contender against Devil's Sight for some characters.
