Just bought my first Book here the Monster Manual, I want to use it to build encounters to use at the table. Is there a grouping feature (so I can bring up perhaps 3 monsters from Room 1, then the 4 from Room 5, etc) If not how do you best use this resource.
There isn't one yet, but it is on the docket to be made eventually.
As for how best to use the resource, for now it's a good quick repository for monsters that you can search and filter to help get to relevant information quickly and easily. When the mobile app launches, it might also be a good resource to use at the table so you don't have to have so many notes piled up on the DM's side of the screen.

It's done by tagging, you have to put the proper tag around what you are tagging. For monsters, it's (and this might not work because it might try to create a tag) "['monster']", add what monster, so say "goblin" and then close it out with "['/monster']". The end result should be goblin.
EDIT: Remove the single quotes within the tags, I had to add them so the actual text of the tags would show up. Also, this works for "spell","weapon" and "magicitem" (and probably more that I don't recall at the moment)

If you're building a campaign you could easily do something like this in the campaign notes:
Room 1- 2 kobolds, 3 goblins, and an orc
Then you can hover over each one for the quick stats or click on the monster to get to the monster listing.

That is very cool.... but how is that done?

The is also a monster hp tracker chrome extension here.
You can create encounters for each of your rooms with the monsters and easily change between encounters.
edit: better description.
And I cast Heroism on the community.
OK, get ready to laugh all you millenials ha what precisely is a 'chrome extension'??
These are 'apps' for google's chrome browser...? Boy I remember my Apple 2C, let me tell you about it...
The floating tooltip creation was a major revelation to me when I found out about it, too. It is awesome to have that option in the campaign notes!
