While I personally am a fan of playing games with grey morality and with having every faction have a point, I agree with this wholeheartedly. There is no wrong way to play as long as everyone is having fun.

I hope everyone here continues to have awesome games, regardless of the behaviours of their humans and goblins in their game.

Looking to add mouse-over triggered tooltips to such things like magic items, monsters or combat actions? Then dash over to the How to Add Tooltips thread.
In seriousness, what else is there really to say, other than "Don't call other people idiots in the title of your thread just because they play their game differently from you" (or any other reason, frankly)?
There is absolutely nothing else to say. It's a fantasy game, and is all make believe. No one is an idiot because of how they treat goblins in their games.

Please check out my homebrew, I would appreciate feedback:
From what I've read here and there, it would seem that some people are feeling concerned that WotC is telling people how to treat Goblins and other Humanoids, but what I can see based on these forums is that such concerns are unwarranted as WotC seems only present options on how to play such moral scenarios, not dictate them. That's up to the individual tables.
In short, WotC isn't telling people how to handle stories. Tables get to decide that for themselves. Tables can focus on various aspects of D&D mechanics and story as they wish in their own tables - but WotC doesn't allow one table to dictate another table's preferences.
People can play D&D for escapism or entertainment or a mix of both. (I'm strictly in the entertainment camp for full disclosure.)
(When I use "table", I mean players and DM. A table doesn't exist without both the DM to run the campaign and the players to play the campaign. DM has the final say about everything, but without players, the campaign becomes just scribbles on paper.)
Human. Male. Possibly. Don't be a divider. My characters' backgrounds are written like instruction manuals rather than stories. My opinion and preferences don't mean you're wrong. I am 99.7603% convinced that the digital dice are messing with me. I roll high when nobody's looking and low when anyone else can see.🎲 “It's a bit early to be thinking about an epitaph. No?” will be my epitaph.

BADWRONGFUN!
I agree. If the group wants to play a certain way, play it that way!

I agree with you, Nikoli. I hope that people have finally gotten their anger out and we can have a little peace.
