I am DMing a campaign. One of my players has the DM-tier here on D&D Beyond, and has a ton of resources. So I and the players joined their "campaign" on here, so all the players could use the resources for their characters.
I've made a couple homebrew items. I am wondering, is there a good way I can share those with my players, without them needing the Hero Subscription? Because if I am reading the subscription-chart right, it looks like the best method would be I create the items, share them publically, my players need to have the Hero tier, and go find the items to use them.
Am I correct on that, or is there an easy way? The player with the DM subscription has offered to just create the items themselves to share with the group, but I wanted to see if there is a way I can do it myself too.
Any homebrew you make is shared with everyone else in any campaign you are in. Nobody needs any subscriptions to use your homebrew for any character they make within that campaign.
The Hero tier allows you to add homebrew shared publicly by others without needing to be in a campaign with them.
The DM tier allows sharing of any purchased material.
