I'm trying to make a homebrew class for my campaign that creates an Unarmored Defense like ability that sets the AC to 10+Strength+Con Score. I already figured out how to add the modifier to add the Bonuses from Strength and Con to set the AC, but the issue I'm having is that if a character chooses to use DEX as a dump stat with a negative modifier, it still effects the overall AC.
How do I add a modifier that removes DEX from effecting AC whether the stat is a positive or negative modifier?
Public Mod Note
(GPyromania):
Moved from Bugs & Support to Homebrew & House Rules.
Try the modifier Set -> Minimum Base Armor, Fixed Value: 10
Ignore -> Unarmored Dex AC Bonus.
Set -> AC Max Dex Unarmored Modifier -> Fixed Value: 0
Use Zhell's to prevent DEX from being used for any unarmored AC calculations, use mine to just prevent negative DEX from affecting your special unarmored AC.

Please believe that I mean no disrespect, but don’t do that. If you do,, setting it to 10 will directly contradict the bonuses for Str and Con that you’ve already established. Best case scenario it won’t work, worst case you’re going to likely end up with a homebrew that crashes character sheets.
That’s unnecessary, the “floor” is automatically 10+ Dex. If the subclass ignores Dex, then it will ignore Dex completely, both for positive and negative modifiers.

Those are the correct three modifiers to accomplish what you want.

I'd meant for Minimum Base Armor 10 to just provide a "floor"; thanks for the warning, I had no idea doing so could crash a character sheet.
