I'm trying to create a ring, and I'm failing. There are four 1st level Reaction spells, Absorb Elements, Feather Fall, Hellish Rebuke and Shield. I'd like the ring to allow the attuned owner to cast each of these spells once per day, with the ring recharging at dawn. I'm struggling with getting the ring to allow each spell once per day, and recharging. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Items only have charges which are used for any spells or features that use charges.
You could set 4 charges and have each spell use 1 charge, but there is no systemic way of restricting it beyond that - you will have to settle for a description and hope your players follow it.
Only other workaround is have the ring do nothing - just description - and make a companion feat. The person who adds the ring would have to manually add the feat as well (no, you can't have the ring do it for you, yes there's a feat modifier but it doesn't work for items). You can indeed have the feat use each spell once per day, exactly as you want. Note: because the ring relies on a companion feat to do anything, you cannot publish it but you don't need to for personal use or for players in your campaign to use it.

Not possible.

Thanks! I felt like I was doing it right, but it wasn't working. I'll investigate the Feat thing, but I'll probably just leave it as it is.
