Specifically what I hope to do is make a caravel (The Wave Chaser from EGtW's prewritten mini-module Tides of Retribution) and I'm just failing miserably. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated!
I have a follow-up question related to this same topic. I went through and just homebrewed up a monster, but basically made my ship and when I finished I was all excited so I hit publish so I could link the page my buddies, but then realized that (and I have no idea how I made this happen) when you click the link to the page it refreshes like every second. Is there a way to unpublish something so others are cursed to see this? I'm including the link in case that helps. I have since remade it without issue, so not worried about losing this link/the homebrew at all.

This page looks fine to me; if your page is reloading then it sounds like an issue with your browser, maybe try disabling an extensions/add-ons to see if it might be one of those causing the problem.
As for homebrewing a vehicle; making it as a monster is definitely the way to go, the format is mostly right and you can add further details underneath, you can also create a Magic Item -> Wondrous Item if you want to have an equipment entry for the vehicle.

Former D&D Beyond Customer of six years: With the axing of piecemeal purchasing, lack of meaningful development, and toxic moderation the site isn't worth paying for anymore. I remain a free user only until my groups are done migrating from DDB, and if necessary D&D, after which I'm done. There are better systems owned by better companies out there.
I have unsubscribed from all topics and will not reply to messages. My homebrew is now 100% unsupported.
Any possibility the ability to do so will come to us in the future? It would be incredibly handy with customization of both the infernal vehicles of Avernus, and custom spelljamming ships with spelljammers out now

If it is possible, how would I go about this?
