Sorry I don't really know where exactly to put this, or what even to call it in title...
I just recently started using D&D Beyond, and am trying to use its features to homebrew some of the stuff I want to add to my personal campaign that tends to go off the beaten path quite frequently.
I guess my question is, as there is the blocks you can fill in to track Bardic Inspiration, Ki Points, Spell Slots, and other things..... When creating Custom Actions, is there a way to create another set of those? If I create a new action that also needs to keep similar track of something?
It seems like there totally should be, but if there is I'm not seeing it..... if not, I feel this is absolutely a needed feature to be added to a future iteration of the Homebrewing section.
Ty in advance if someone can point me to the correct feature that creates this :)
Custom actions created ad hoc on the sheet can't have limited uses like that. You can create actions with limited uses using feats, race or subclass features. I made a video where you can see how to create such for an action limited by proficiency bonus, if that helps.
If you can describe the mechanics of the feature you're implementing I or another member might be able to guide you through it. I might even make a video if I have time.
Firstly though I highly recommend this thread by Sposta which has a whole bunch of super useful things for homebrewing. If you check #4 under Subclasses & Races FAQ, or #3 under Feats in the Spells, Feats & Monsters FAQ, it details how to do it. If you're still stuck after reading those I can help more with a video but check that first. :)

Oh, you're my hero. I appear to have been foiled by that weird little 'edit' aspect, where you have to create it first and then edit it to reach the option. Thank you so much for your time!
Nah worries, glad to help. And aye, that trips a lot of peeps up.
I'm just a regular ol' member. I just have no life and spend way too much time on here! 🤣

Are you D&D Beyond staff, or a member/user?
