I've been working on a subclass for a campaign of mine for the past hour and a half. I thought I had everything sorted, but apparently not. The monk class has a special ki thing called a cursed strike. It's supposed to do a d8 of extra force damage, upgrading at specific levels later on. Ive doubled back several times while checking to see if everything is written and coded right for my class. Ive been testing it by making temporary character sheets. Dndbeyond keeps saying its damage die for a level 17 is 1d10 when it should be 5d8. Ive made sure I have the damage type right as well as the level overrides set up properly. Nothing seems to be fixing. Any solutions?
