So in my game, I have a player (Bloodhunter) whose character is going to discover that their mother traded their souls in a contract with a Harvester Devil (from 3rd Ed.) from Stygia when he was a baby in order to survive their frontier town being attacked by a horde of monsters. Bloodhunter is aware of the deal out-of-character, but I still want there to be a few surprises for them to deal with. Bloodhunter is also going to get magically branded with a Black Rapier, which will give them some cold related spells and access to an imp familiar, but allow the Harvester Devil to constantly know their location (via the imp, Szem is a good imp like that).
My real question is, having seen Mike Faille's 'Imps of the Nine Hells' I want the imp to be more suited to have been from Stygia - other than just the flavoured look I provide. I cannot get access to Mike's stat blocks via patron any more, so I was hoping people had some ideas on how to make an imp unique to each of the Hells?
Well, the simplest thing that pops into mind for a Stygian imp is to add cold immunity and change the animals it can appear as to more wintery ones. Maybe work some cold damage into the sting or something too.
one of my favorite house rules is that you're allowed to use a bonus action to down a healing potion and you have to roll for healing like normally, however you can use a full action to drink it carefully, and you don't have to roll for healing, and automatically get the max amount of healing from it.

I think you maybe meant to post this in a different thread.

I think I was overthinking mechanically what changes would be needed to be made to make them more fitting, thanks!
