Is there a way to replicate the Ranger class ability "Favored Enemy"; in an item or feat? I'm kind of doing it. but it means adding 14 creature type options. And then, I do not know how to add another couple dozen sub-choices for Humanoids.)

Can it be done in an HB subclass? (there's no current way to make a homebrew class, right?) TY.
Since favored enemy isn't a subclass feature, I don't think there's a blueprint yet. I don't know for sure (fake news alert incoming) but I think the beyond team was thinking about implementing tools to write whole homebrew classes. If so, you would probably be able to copy pasta the ranger feature.
Yeah. I was basically able to do it. (a little messy with the 2 humanoids thing). But it required writing in 63 different options to choose from. One issue is that this is a special ability than can be changed from time to time. so writing-in 1 permanent choice wouldnt work.

The modifiers are there to recreate it but you would have to do it from scratch.
