Is it currently possible to have a subclass or feature modify a chatacter's attack per action?
Base classes are capable or modifying this value, but I have seen nothing so far that allows me to give say a Druid the Extra Attack feature with a subclass.
Am I missing something obvious or is this just not implemented?
It exists. Modifier: Set - Extra Attack then fixed value equal to the number of extra attack (1 extra attack = 2 attacks, 2 = 3, etc). They don't stack, so if you want more attacks at higher levels and a new modifier at that level setting the higher fixed value.
After you save the Modifier, you have to save the whole subclass feature, and then save the whole subclass again to trigger it to recheck and push the changes to the character sheet. That might take a few minutes. That should do it.
Did you re-save the class feature and the whole subclass? Unless you re-save the whole subclass I don’t think it triggers the system to update with the new information. Or, the system might be updated, but the character sheet isn’t pulling the updated information. Sometimes logging out and back in can actually fix that.
If the character is set to “public” you can post a link here and I can tell you if I see it on the sheet. That would at least tell you if it’s actually not working, or if it’s just not displaying correctly on your browser. That would at least let us know if maybe clearing your browser cache might help. Otherwise you’re probably going to need to post a link to the homebrew so an actual Moderator can take a look at it and see what’s glitched. Even if it’s not published they can still see it.
Fair enough, hoping if they get general features working that we could use additional features/replacement features to do this kind of thing. Though would be nice for them to make the sidekick classes a thing anyways. Thanks for the answer.

Thank you
So i'm trying to do this with my subclass I'm building, but it's not showing the second attack on the characters sheet.
Are you using the following modifier?
Modifier—>Set; Modifier Subtype—>Extra Attacks; Fixed Value—>1

I am, but it doesn't seem to take effect on the character sheet.

Is there any way to do this in reverse?
Trying to make the Warrior Sidekick by homebrewing a fighter subclass.
Was wondering if I can delay/negate the extra attack from 5 until 6, 11 until 15 and remove the 20th level one.
Pretty sure there isn't. You can't modify base classes still, and DDB will always favor the highest value of the same modifier.

is there any way to have it scale with levels or do i have to make another feature for the next bonus
You have to make another feature with the next bonus.
