If I am not the DM is there a way for me to share homebrew items with just people in my campaign without making them public? Or can the DM copy a homebrew item from my inventory to his list of items so he can pass them to other players?
I believe members of a campaign can access private (not published) homebrew items other members of the campaign have created - you do not need to be a DM.

If campaign sharing is turned on, all homebrew from anyone in the campaign that is in that person's Homebrew Collection should be visible, so long as those wanting to use it have Homebrew turned "On" on their character sheet.
