I ask mostly after discussing some stuff with the GM of our current campaign. TL;DR I need to know as much as possible as fast and as accurately as possible.
At any rate If there's any place you guys started and had good results I'd really appreciate the feedback. Or if anyone out there can point me towards a formatting guide of some sort. If there's nothing available however I guess trial and error will have to do. Thanks for your time.

"I once knew this fella, Aasimar raised in the Underdark. Was like a brother to me. When he escaped we couldn't take much with us. Poor, emaciated husks of the living we were. 'ts okay though. We survived and made our ways. I'll never forget the way the people from my home looked at us when we walked in the archway. Though, I'm frighteningly certain the feelings they would have, had they but the opportunity ta see us leave." --Manolovo the Traitor, Memoirs of a Scoundrel
Currently you have not published your race so only you can see it. James Introcaso did a wonderful tutorial on how to build a race in DDB, that would be an excellent place to start.
