When you reach character levels 3 and 5, you learn a higher-level spell, as shown below. You always have that spell prepared. You can cast it once without a spell slot, and you regain the ability to cast it in that way when you finish a Long Rest. You can also cast the spell using any spell slots you have of the appropriate level. Intelligence, Wisdom, or Charisma is your spellcasting ability for the spells you cast with this trait.
I created Species Trait with 3 different Options and then made them prerequisites for the Oni Magic options:
I followed other templates to make sure that this is correct, but it's still showing options for the level 3 (Disguise Self) and Level 5 (Phantasmal Force) spells.
My friend is starting her next campaign and included a list of homebrew species that are specific to her story's Wild West setting.
I thought it would be neat to play a gunslinging artificer oni, so I'm trying to recreate the homebrew in Beyond so that I can use it.
