I'm starting a campaign with a group who lost their DM after just one session. This means the players have already put a lot of work into their characters and never got a chance to use them. Naturally, I don't want them to loose all the work. Even though I'm usually not a fan of races and classes outside the core rules, I want to give it a chance.
What do you guys think of using this race in a 5e campaign? Do you see any problems? Right off the bat I would say the +2 on all perception is a bit strong.
Any advise is welcome!

Moved from DM's Only to Homebrew & House Rules.
The link seems to be for an older edition of D&D. Do you need help converting this to 5e? A +2 to Perception checks is the least bothersome thing about this homebrew.

That's from Pathfinder, which is a 3rd edition offshoot. It won't be useable without converting.
I'm not terribly familiar with the android race but is it possible to simply use a warforged?
