I want to implement a "Wabbajack" into one of my next DnD-stories. But due to its randomness... i am not sure if I should homebrew one like with a ranged magic attack throw followed by a D8/D10 to determine the magic cast on a success. Some of them will deal damage and some of them heal or do like nothing usefull at all. I want to rebuild this item to resemble its Skyrim-origin as good and funnily as possible
To intense the randomness there could be like a "yes/no/maybe"-dice to answer the question "Does it hit the enemy?" - just to make it even more random xD Okay back to being serious...
Except the y/n/m-dice the build for the wabbajack would actually work quite well. To implement it lorewise as an item it could be something that Loki/Liira left for chaos snd personal amusement. But still...
If there are actually versions of a "Wabbajack" I'd love to know about them
