I wanted to update my Blood Hunter subclass to match the new rules for the class. I can't seem to be able to publish it. The following message appears "This homebrew Subclass does not have the necessary class features with the correct required levels." I have subclass features for level 3, 7, 11, 15, 18 and I have hit the save button numerous times. Nothing works. Can anyone help me? Thank you.
Just texts. I'm not confident enough to dabble with the subclass editor beyond text. There are two features at level 3 and one for levels 7, 11, 15, 18.
That may be the problem. I believe, if they don’t actually do anything at those levels it won’t let you publish. But you don’t have to publish it to use it yourself, only to share it with the world at large. What does your homebrew do? I might be able to help you build the rest of it.
I won’t be able to see it that way until it’s published. Go to the page for the subclass, drag your mouse over the entire thing, copy it and paste it here.
When you join this order at level 3, you develop the curse that plagues the order. While the Hunter’s Bane normally helps repress the effects, you are able to release it when you need the extra strenght. As a bonus action, you enter a Black Rage. As long as you don’t wear heavy armor, you gain the following benefit for the next minute, until there are no more enemy creatures within 60 feet or you are knocked unconscious:
- You have resistence to bludeoning, piercing and slashing damage
- You have advantage on strength checks and strength saving throws
- You can roll your rite damage twice and take the better result.
You can use this feature once per short rest.
Red Thirst
At level 3, you suffer the adverse effects of releasing your curse for too long. When your Black Rage ends, roll a Wisdom saving throw. The DC equals 8 + the number of successful attacks you’ve landed during your Black Rage. If you succeed, the rage fades away and you regain control of yourself. If you fail, you become consumed by the curse and must keep fighting and killing. The Black Rage lasts for an additional turn, but you must attack the creature nearest to you, friend or foe. If there are 2 or more creatures within the same distance of you, randomly determine which one you’ll attack. At the end of your subsequent turns, you can try to make the wisdom save again, a failure meaning that the Black Rage continues. Each turn, the DC is modified by + 1 for every successful attack and -1 for every turn that passes. Knocking you unconscious or killing you ends the Red Thirst’s effects.
Aspect of Terror
At level 7, when you enter your Black Rage, you emit an aura of dread that frightens those who stand in your way. When you activate your Black rage, every creature that can see you within 30 feet must make a Wisdom saving throw or suffer the frightened condition for the next minute. The DC equals 8 + your Intelligence modifier + your proficiency bonus. A creature that passes the save is immune to this effect for 24 hours. In addition, a creature frightened by this feature cannot hide from you for the duration, even if it is invisible.
Brand of Bane
At level 11, your Brand of Castigation causes your foes' every movement to become extremely painful, making them less efficient in a fight. Whenever the creature targeted by your brand rolls for an attack roll or a saving throw, it must substract from the result one roll of your Hemocraft die from the result. This can potentially cause an attack to miss or a saving throw to fail.
Tame the Taint
At level 15, you are becoming accustomed to your curse. Many in your order do not have this chance as they die beforehand. You now have advantage on the Wisdom check to resist the effects of the Red Thirst.
Blood Curse of Wrath
At level 18, your mastery of your curse allows you to send a rush of adrenaline to your body to fuel your blind murderous intent. You learn the Blood Curse of Wrath for your Blood Maledict feature. This doesn’t count against your number of blood curses known.
Blood Curse of Wrath
Prerequisite: Level 18, Order of the Tainted Blood
As a bonus action, you enter a state of murderous wrath for 1 minute. You score critical hits on your attacks on the roll of a natural 19 and 20.
Amplify. You score critical hits on your attacks on the roll of a natural 18, 19 or 20.
I like this a lot. Blood Angels player? I will admit this is cool, but here’s the thing:
Most of this stuff is all predicated on when you are “black raging.” Currently, they are redesigning the character sheet and the homebrew generator. (They use the same system we do with a little more access so everything is tied together.) Part of what they are implementing is toggleable features. Right now there is no way to have anything “turn on and off” on the character sheet. (Well, there is, but it’s a jank workaround involving magic items.) If you wait a bit until that’s finished you would be able to get it done properly. I can help you make this work as well as the system allows now, if you want though. The choice is yours.

Do your features actually do anything, or are they just text? Do you have any features at any other levels?

That's weird. All my other subclasses are only text and I never had any issues to publish them. I'm not going to turn down an offer for help though.
Here's a link to the updated subclass: https://www.dndbeyond.com/subclasses/434800-order-of-the-tainted-blood
