What I'm actually trying to do (in case there's a better way): "+1 longsword does +1d6 slashing damage against fiends increasing by 1d6 per fiend killed and resetting if you kill anything other than a fiend" (it's a combo meter basically)
Since it's really easy to add/remove charges and set the maximum number of charges (a cap on the 'combo') my first thought was something in the vein of a "+{{current charges}}d6 slashing against fiends" type of modifier but I'm struggling to make that work.
Is there a way to do this? Is there an alternate method to accomplish the same goal? Thought about a spell because that can scale off charges consumed when you trigger it but it seems kind of clunky since the damage bonus is persistent and may need to scale up and down frequently.

The only way to do it currently is with plain text and the player will have to manually track charges and manually roll the correct number of dice.
