At our last game session my GM gave me a magic sharpening stone. I can apply the stone to a weapon, and for 1 hour, the weapon does an additional 1d4 fire OR lightning damage
So my question is twofold. What would be the approach for such a stone. Can I make an item that I can activate so it shows at the appropriate weapon, as either lightning or fire. Or should I make the entire custom weapon so I can ad the notes as modifiers, like the flame tongue weapons.
Neither will make those will put an actual damage box on the character sheet that would work with the DDB Dice Roller. If you don’t care about that, then just make it as the item it is. The player could always add them as “Custom Actions” directly to the character sheet.

Does it make sense to you guys what I want ?
