I could not believe this wasn't already created not an official cantrip on DNDB, consider this comes from the PHB. All I've done here is edit Mage Hand to add the Legerdemain capabilities that the Arcane Trickster archetype can utilise. This includes making the hand invisible, doing simple thief actions such as pickpocketing, planting or lock picking, the ability challenge on doing these things un-noticed, controlling as a bonus action and the distract upgrade at level 13.
I've only done this so that this cantrip shows up better on the character sheet.
If it should be removed/made private then please do so after adding the official version and locking it down to PHB owners if necessary.
Update: This just got rejected by the moderators, despite it not appearing in the site but appearing in official D&D content. I understand the copyright issue. But the reject makes this a bug report of missing content. Perhaps DNDB could find time to fixing current paid content in between digital dice and third party RPG products?
There is no spell called “Mage Hand Legerdemain” in 5e, so there is no missing content. The Arcane Trickster just uses the regular Mage Hand, but they get some extra bonuses to it. That doesn’t make it a separate spell. They still just use the regular version of the spell.
You can use MHL as a cantrip replacing Mage Hand in your private games, but DDB is contractually obligated to eliminate cases of published content being 'reprinted' as homebrew on the website. Many players don't see a great deal of difference between remembering what their class abilities modify the spell to do and using a custom spell to remind them of their class abilities; given how invasive the Tasha's Cauldron release has been to DDB's work schedule and how they've abandoned almost all other projects to focus on implementing TC, fixes like this are unlikely to be made official any time soon.
The people making digital dice do not have the skills to contribute to programming lifts, and DDB has not ever produced or endorsed third-party content beyond one programmer spending his coffee break putting homebrew Matthew Mercer already designed and coded up in the homebrew editor into the 'Critical Role Content' bucket for people who enjoy the show. Outside of the Runeterra snafu everybody has mostly forgotten by now, including myself for a few moments.
