so, i was making a new character, the usual, did a wheel for a random class and race, and i got a dhampir (specifically the one from the grim hollow players pack) as my species, and a warrior of the leaden crown monk, and i just wanna know if thats a good combination when ive got a 20 in dex and wisdom, mainly asking because of the draining attack feature adding a good amount of temporary hitpoints, because it says If you have the Natural Attack trait, each time you hit with an Unarmed Strike, you gain Temporary Hit Points equal to the damage dealt by the attack. and it doesn’t say you have to use the bite attack. And if it was a warrior of pride monk that could very well give enough temporary hitpoints to not take damage for most attacks, so long as you are bloodied, right?
edit: just to make sure you all know i am using the 2024 monk specifically
From all the online information I am getting. The monk MA ability does nothing mut lets you use DEX for the To-Hit with the bite, but the damage is "SET" to 1D4+CON.
IF you want to increase the BITE affects you need to Increase additional piercing damage.
