Yep, that's about it. Just hop in, ask for a rough review of main points and just start role-playing. If you want a better review you will have to do some reading but it may take a while...

and thank you bullethawk for your contributions to the dndbeyond community. I am also struggling with depression, and I know what its like. hopefully the fun will go on for ages.
This isn’t a active cult all that much. This is mostly to support her so unless someone is trash talking Bullethawk we aren’t going to be doing much
On the other hand a place to work out cult disputes with out raids would be something she supports. So I guess we are in unless she says so
Yeah, raiding other people's spaces isn't the best tactic even thought it is practically the only one. I personally don't dispute about the matter because I am not good with words (TTB on the other hand tho lol) but I will support it if you guys want.

Don’t worry too much if you think the cult is making a wrong choice feel free to say it.
How do I make a character that isn’t useless. I’ve been on three encounters and I’ve been trapped in a stone jar for the entire fight, been constantly knocked down and counter spelled, or just killed.
I like playing supports but I am not getting a chance to do anything and I was wondering if you can help me make a build that doesn’t die immediately or should I just make a dps

Making a support build is fine. Maybe try adding magic items or armor to boost ac/other? or look in the cleric thread for good builds if you just want to stick to basic content.

Fair enough. It’s probably going to be a while before I make a character for the tavern. I’m just salty that it happened not once not twice but three times in a row

alright. you could always bargain with another character for warlock spells. ill admit the choices aren't great, but they should boost power level. i think the current people offering warlock levels are Eris, Atemos, Calius, Kothar. there might be more i'm missing though. either way, you're targeted because you're a support character, and as such, you carry the lives of everyone else. if you had been alive in the death dells fight, we def would have won. atemos didn't have any way to heal, i dont think irizaun did either, and grey might have? Calius had regen so that's why we weren't able to kill him. just a word of warning for playing support, you will be targeted, so you might want some defense stuff

honestly i don't think the problem is the characters, i think there needs to be a few more encounters that accommodate both the OP and UP characters at the same time

Then, look at the URL in the bottom left corner on the screen while hovering the mouse over it. There will be a good subclass for your character.
