"And if you get to talk to him? Do you promise to keep him here and to not mess with him?"
To Raxern: How are you fairing?
"I will not bring him anywhere if hes unwilling."
Fine, I feel his presence, and he has a lot of ties from him to me, I don't know what but I feel it.
"Mmm... And you will not mess with him?"
Do you two want to talk?
"That can be taken multiple ways."
I have questions, but yeah I'd like to ask them to his face.
"Not to cause harm to him?"
Okay... like now?
"No." He's not lying by technicality.
Uh, yeah why the abyss not?
"You promise not to harm Raxern as definited by Raxern?"
I mean here?
"He wants to say something? I'll let him." *that's defined right? took a moment for me to realise that that's probably a typo.*
Yeah. He's right here, apparently nothing breaks inside the tavern.
*Yep* "And not hurt him?"
Yep, but he can teleport you
"Not by his definition."
I can still talk to him right?
"Got it..."
Yep They open the door
He watches Raphael while he waits for Rāxern.
He puts his guitar down & walks downstairs, opening the door. *soooo, they talk to each other in my post, then Raphael could intervein every now & then? I've never had a conversation with two of my own characters.*
*Its fine. You can just give a summary. Raphael will teleport Raxern into the room if it turns violent*
*Okay,*
Rāxern asks him about what he has to do with him, & Marauder reveals that he decided to see what Rāxern could do if he lived, as he saw the way he went about things in the Abyss was 'entertaining', so he gave him magic so he'd have a chance at survival, and Rāxern gets a flash of humanity when M brings up how one reason he kept him with magic so long is the way he went about his horrid mayhem. R: "So you used the things I did for your enjoyment?" he thinks to the things he did with some new humanity. Marauder nods in response. *Sorry it'd be quite the chat, also probably awkward for Raphael.*
*Indeed*
Raphael fiddles with her flower crown. "So... are we done now?"
Rāxern clearly is focused a bit on what he's done, "Yeah, we're done." He opens the door.
The Marauder speaks, "See? No tricks, only answers."
Raphael turns to Mr. M. "Did you do anything malicious during the conversation?"
Rapahel pats Rāxern on the back. "Its okay..."
"No. He asked questions, I gave answers, if anything happened to him, he shouldn't have asked questions he can't take the answer to. I'm not to blame. Now I'll be around, and to keep my promise, I won't talk to him again, unless he comes to me." He walks into the tavern.
Rāxern is going through things in his mind right now, "I did all of that?"
They nod, watching them carefully
"What is that? Entertain people?" Raphael says, confused
As the Marauder walks into the Tavern main room, he sees a Black Tabaxi with piercing blue eyes staring at him. There's something...unsettling about those eyes to him.
Truesight:
It's Elendon, simply shapeshifted to better observe.

"You are a most unusual demon. most would be very hesitant to let one of their minions go, let alone potentially rise to become some form of celestial." He says in a light, slightly singsong voice.

She laughs slightly. "Defeated targets. They collapse when you defeat them, and repair and reset themselves after a few minutes." As she's speaking one of the ones that was sparking stops, and reassembles itself with metallic clatter and squeals.

She smiles and laughs a bolt of frost at one of the activated targets she was battling, slowing it to a crawl.
