Leander smiles at Elise, seemingly lost in thought. Then he jolts awake. “Oh wow! Look at the time. As much as I’d love to spend all day chatting with such a charming princess, I’m only here for a couple days and I have to take care of some business while I’m here.” He stands up, then looks at Elise. “You know, this really has been a nice first date. I say first because I haven’t been out with anyone interesting in a long time. Like I said, I swore off romance a couple years ago.” He blushes slightly, then smiles at Elise.
Elise smiles at Leander. "Can I come with you?"
Leander smiles back. “I’d love that, but unfortunately I have some boring banking business to take care off. But tell you what. How about after I get back we head into town for a nice friendly dinner at Delmonico’s or Tavern on the Green? They both have some pretty good food and excellent champagne.”
