He laughs, and pulls in closer. "I don't honestly care, dear." He gives her another quick kiss. "I am yours, my love. Forever and always."

"Good.... Or until another pretty thing catches you" she said m with a chuckle

He laughs. "No. That version of me is gone, dear. I am yours, and yours alone." He pulls her in for another kiss, this one longer and more tender.

She smiles and blood his nose against hers

He smiles warmly. "I love you, Ella. More than anything, or anyone else, I love you." His eyes sparkle more than ever, reminding her or either a thunderstorm or a field of fireflies.

"If you keep saying it, I might loose my head y'know" she said and chuckled "all this 'I love you' its makes.me flustered....but I like it..."

He grins. "And what would happen then, dear? Would we need to go back upstairs?"

"No... I just want to be here, with you, in this sliver of a moment..." She said "no body to yell orders, nobody telling you to play something for money.... Just us."

He smiles warmly. "I like that." He kisses her, short and gentle, on the lips. "This kind of peace is so rare...especially when you're able to spend it with someone you love."

she smiles "all I want is peace but usually peace is always during the time, the eye, in a hurricane. I wonder when we will have the violent storm that is chaos again"

He sighs. "You're right. I guess I've been luckier than most...I've known much peace, but even then it is filled with far too much...this kind of peace is rare..." He looks her in the eye. "I hope we get much more time like this together."
