*Where is Leander?*
*He’s having a drink at the bar.*
Elise heads over to Leander
Leander smiles. “Hey, princess! What’s up?”
Elise smiles. "Hey. Nothing much, just haven't found someone to have a romantic relationship with yet."
Leander sits down next to her and gets serious. “Be patient, princess. Romance isn’t everything. You’re beautiful and really sweet. You’ll find someone. Now how would you like to grab a bite to eat at Delmonico’s down the road?”
Elise looks at him. "I would really like that."
Leander takes her arm and they head out the door to Delmonico’s.
Elise puts her right hand on the upper part of his arm.
Leander smiles at her and Elise can feel the romantic tension crackling between them as they walk.
As soon as they leave the pomerium (the blessing around the tavern), two men turn visible and approach Leander. One calls out in a loud voice “Leander Mytros! You’re under arrest by order of the queen of Cormyr. The charge is murder.” Leander draws his sword.
"He didn't murder anyone he was with me!"
The men ignore Elise and draw their swords. Leander looks like a good fighter but he’s outnumbered two to one.
Elise shoots ice at one of them with her ice powers.
The man freezes and falls off his horse with a comical look of surprise on his face. Leander disarms the other man with a quick stroke of his sword. The man turns and flees. Leander turns to Elise. “Thank you Elise. You saved my life. I… I don’t know what to say.”
Elise looks at Leander. "Your welcome."
Impulsively Leander hugs her, his lips brushing her neck as he does so, then stands up. “Come on. I still owe you a steak dinner and I’m not gonna let those guys make us late.”
"Ok, can you help me up?"
