*INAC, at some point, I've got a dwarf who may be able to trade a few stories with Jim. He's a Forge Domain mountain dwarf who originally spent some time in Waterdeep in the temple to Moradin. Also spent some time sailing the Sword Coast.*
*Sounds fun but they may not get along well. He worked for Xanathar as chief cook and occasional enforcer. It's why his brain is so screwed up and he's afraid of everything.*
*That's make it all the more fun and interesting.*
She smiles slightly. "Alright." She takes another sip. "Well, I'm still looking for a bit of a reason to stay..." She looks him in the eyes briefly. "Do you think you have one for me?" She asks with a shy smile
He inhales the fumes off one of his whiskey glasses and sets it down empty on the counter. "That, Mistress Tallia, depends entirely upon where you look." once again he's looking deeply into her eyes, and he leans in a bit closer. "I'd rather not look anywhere else."
She smiles shyly and looks away briefly, blushing hard, before looking back shyly. "I...think I..." She looks down shyly, blushing still.
He breathes deeply and sips his whiskey, giving her a sly smile over the lip of the glass and saying sincerely, "There's no rush Tallia."
She smiles shyly, blushing still. She looks back up shyly, before sipping on her champagne, finally finishing it.
"You want another?"
She nods, still acting rather shy, as though waiting for Finn to make the first move.
He orders them both a new glass of champagne, and lifts his in a toast, sitting a bit closer to Tallia. "To new horizons."
She smiles shyly. "To new horizons." She says, clinking her glass against his, before taking a sip.
He takes a sip, savoring the smell of the fumes like he did with the whiskey. Then he sets the glass aside carefully and leans in to kiss her tenderly. The effects of the fumes mixed with the kiss have a heady effect on him that leaves sparks rocketing around Finn's brain like roman charioteers taking a victory lap.
She seems a little surprised at first, before leaning into it a bit, kissing him back. When he breaks the kiss, she leans back, blinking rapidly, blushing.
"Wow..." he says, half surprised himself.
She nods shyly. "Yeah..." She says quietly.
He begins tying his hair back again with his bandana. "That was incredible..." he strokes the fur along her chin and smiles, "It's a wonder you're so shy."

*Yeah, that's simplest.*
"Thank you, very much Tallia. Um... I guess I can go get a donation to your hoard now. As repayment."
She shakes her head, laughing. "No, no need, Ash."
"Oh then... Um... Do you like me speaking so formally?"
She sighs. "Honestly, no. I have enough of that back home. Even the royals rarely view me as even an equal. It gets...rather annoying sometimes."
"Oh, I apol- I'm sorry. Thanks for telling me." She says, shifting and letting go of some of her fear
She chuckles. "Of course, Ash. You really don't have anything to be afraid of with me."
"I... I want to be safe rather then sorry. I grew up with people who were quick to angry and weren't always what they seemed."
She sighs. "You truly have nothing to fear, Ash, but I understand."
"Okay. Um... Shall I just take it till I make it?"
She shrugs. "Sure."
"Okay." Ash says, shaunts over to Tallia and putting their hand on her shoulder. "How goes it, pal?"
She chuckles. "Well, Ash, very well."
"Good to hear you, dude. What shall, um... Should we do? Mess around and... (Can't say gorge, that is too formal) eat a lot? I don't know a lot of slang sadly."
She laughs. "You're trying a little too hard, Ash. Just be yourself; act how you would with your friends."
"Okay... Am I really that funny?"
"With how hard you were trying to "play it lose," as I think the saying goes, yes, you were. You don't need to act around me, Ash. Just be yourself."
"I am sorry for acting like someone else. Um... As long as I am being truthful here, I would love to see your hoard."
She smiles. "Maybe sometime, my friend."
"Well I will accept that... Say, can you travel between material planes? I would... Like to see how people are faring back home without me."

Hi everyone! I'm working up the will to finalize my signature, so... I guess this will be the signature for now
*Yes? No? Maybe? I would (personally) like it if Raphael got to meet jim*
*Actually, yes I can do that! Sounds fun.*
Jim is chilling in the kitchen, sitting on an inverted pot. He's playing spoons and whistling to himself.
A halfling with green eyes, red hair, and elf ears skip over to Jim (humming with his beet), tapping them lightly on the back. "Hello, my good sir. How are you doing this evening?"
"'Eh? Doin' jes fine fer once little friend, thank'e fer askin'."
"Your welcome. I'm Raphael. Nice to meet you?" They say, offering a hand
He shakes it heartily, "Jim th' Pick."
"Well, nice to meet you, 'Jim th' Pick'. Are you a musician or something?"
"Nope, I'm a cook." He shrugs, "I jes play th' spoons now n' again when I get bored o' cookin'"
"Ooo, I would love to know how to cook. I... Can't taste well, so I'm not a good one, not yet anyway."
*Insight if you want*
*Sure beans: 3*
"Ehh, I could show ye a few things."
They seem to be telling the truth.
"If you are willing, sure I am willing to listen. Um... Are you open right now?"
He puts down the spoons and shrugs, "I've got nothin' better ta do. Whaddya wanna know how ta cook?"
They think for a second. "Double chocolate cookies?"
He rubs his scruffy chin, only barely held in reserve from the ever-persistent onslaught of his manish sideburns. "I'm not real good at confectionery, but I'll see what I can do."
"Well if you want, you can suggest something else. What are you best at making?"
"Seafood. I learned ta cook in waterdeep. Particularly fond o' crab,"
"Ooo, do you know how to cook swordfish?"
"If it swims, I can cook it." he rubs his hands together, "Swordfish, eh? I believe we have some o' that down in the ice-room."
Raphael is very excited. "Okay, so what do we need?"
"Well, fer starters, swordfish. Folow me."
They nod, doing so
He leads them around out the backdoor of the kitchen to the left side of the tavern, off of which is built a rickety toolshed near the stables. Inside there appears to be a pile of straw where someone has been sleeping, and an immaculately cleaned and upkept blunderbuss hangs on the wall nearby. He continues down an internal cellar door near the straw pile, and the temperature drops significantly and noticeably. Seeing easily around the unlit ice cellar with his dark vision, Jim begins to root through the various slabs of meat, finding several tied with a tag upon which is scrawled 'Sordfish.' he takes a few slabs of the meat and begins the trip back up. "Normally ye'd want ta be able ta see the coloration o' the meat before ye cook with it, but I checked when I bought it an' these'r beautiful cuts o' swordfish, no doubt."
"Thank you very much, Jim th' Pick. So we have the fish. What is next?" She says, looking for a apron
There's a couple hanging in the corner, but they would be comically large on him. Jim gives him a stool to help reach stuff. Jim thinks on Raphael's question for a moment, then sniffs the meat as his ears perk up and he appears to be in deep thought. "Lemon pepper. Sage. Fresh lemons." he pulls a matchstick out of his pocket, "And fire."

"Ooo, cool. I wish I had your sense of smell, sir. Where shall we find such ingredients?"
*So the aprons are the size for a bugbear or goliath as compared to a halfling?*
"Let me put this into perspective, time as you know it didn't exist when I was born"
"Oh.... um... Now I feel silly." They admit, blushing slightly
"You're fine"
"Okay. So have you had any job before the current one?"
"I was a worker"
"As in physical labor?"
"Yes"
"How intriguing. Why did you switch?"
"When the revolution happened"
"Um... What revolution? Like one full turn of a clockwork gear in mechanus?"
"I barely remember it"
"Was it before time began?"
"Yes"
"What was it like? During the moment without time?"
"It was an experience"

She smiles slightly, and purrs, leaning against his hand. "That it was, Finn..." She says quietly, looking him in the eyes, her eyes shining.
He gently maneuvers his hand to the back of her neck, "Seconds?"

She smiles slightly, and purrs, leaning against his hand. "That it was, Finn..." She says quietly, looking him in the eyes, her eyes shining.
He gently maneuvers his hand to the back of her neck, "Seconds?"
She smiles shyly, and nods, with equal shyness.
This time the kiss is more passionate. He gently pulls her head and body close to his and kisses her deeply.
She purrs softly, and kisses him back equally, one of her arms winding its way around his waist as her tail sways back and forth.

She shakes her head. "Unfortunately, no. Teleportation spells, aside from Misty Step, are beyond what I can cast as a sorceress."
She smiles slightly, and purrs, leaning against his hand. "That it was, Finn..." She says quietly, looking him in the eyes, her eyes shining.
They think for a second. "And I can speak freely without fear of driving you off or angering you?"
Hi everyone! I'm working up the will to finalize my signature, so... I guess this will be the signature for now
She smiles. "Of course, Ash."
"Do you have an amulet of planar travel I could use/borrow?"

She thinks for a minute. "Not on me, unfortunately, but I think I have one in the room I have back in the tavern."
"Ooo, cool. I wish I had your sense of smell, sir. Where shall we find such ingredients?"
*So the aprons are the size for a bugbear or goliath as compared to a halfling?*

"Oh, good to hear. Later I can work up the effort to ask you if I can actually borrow it... In the meantime, what should we do? I would try to amaze you with my magical talents but something says I'm not that amazing to you."

She laughs. "You may be surprised, Ash." She pushes her gently, playfully.
This time the kiss is more passionate. He gently pulls her head and body close to his and kisses her deeply.

"Um... Okay." She replies, a bit worried but trying to be courageous.
Ash casts Pyrotechnics (fireworks), Prestidigitation, and Minor Illusion to provide a dazzling display of colors and whatnot. From a dragon made of prismatic fire to harmless explosions of light, to a tornado of wonder.
