A new figure walks in. A 5'7" human. They have slashed and damaged clothing, and bronzish hair. He has a deck of cards in a holster on his hip, and a 7' longsword carried diagonally on his back. His eyes have pitch black irises. He looks around at everyone before sighing sadly, and sitting alone
Mithris walks over. "Hello. Who are you?"
".... Nikdas...." He looks away, hiding the cards a bit
"Did you know your name is sad kin backwards? Unless it's spelled differently than I think. My name is Mithris."
*..... When its actually a [1 GP] accident tho, lol* "I... Never noticed.... Hello, Mithris"
*Oh. I analyzed too deep. Well, Mithris would do that anyway.*
"I don't mean to pry, but I have a question for you."
"Hm? Go ahead. What is it?"
"Where did you get those cards and that sword from?"
"The sword... I got from a friend... The cards I... Found yesterday"
"Where did you find them?"
"... Everywhere. They follow..."
"Where did you find them first?"

"... Whats Sogel?"
"It's not that important. I think I know someone like you."
"Like me? In... What way?"
"The cards."
"... What about them? Someone else has cards that wont leave them alone?"
"Magical cards, that they found. Could I see a card?"

The tavern door opens, as a person enters. He is extremely pale, with a shock of swept back red hair, apart from an unruly lock of jet black that falls between their violet eyes. He's wearing a navy jacket that covers a suit of studded leather armor, and as they step across the threshold the jacket shifts, quickly revealing a set of daggers on his right side. They wear two rings: a silver bang on his left ring finger, and an emerald studded ring of copper on their right middle finger.
Oh, and one other thing: he looks awful. Dirt and mud across their clothing, a bruise growing on his right temple, and a bloody lip. But, you can tell that they would normally be a quite handsome individual, as he quickly steps into the TEW.
Sarana walks over to him. "You don't look like you've had a very nice day. I'm Sarana."
He stares at her for a second, before responding, "I... don't care. Sorry." He walks towards the stairs, before stopping, turning, and flagging down the barmaid. "Hi, apologies, what's your name? Feel like that might be important later."
"I'm Ortheria. Welcome to the Tavern at the End of the World. Who might you be, esteemed guest?"
He clasps his hands together. "You can call me Baron, absolute pleasure, thank you for your time." He taps his left temple with his right index and middle fingers in what seems to be a form of salute, and then makes his way up the stairs.
A moment later, he comes back downstairs, and walks over to the bar, and the bartender. "Hi, I'd like a room? Please?"
*This might have gotten buried.*
*It did, sorry.*
The bartender holds out a key in one hand, and keeps the other open, as if waiting for something.
Baron digs their hand into a small pocket in his jacket, and pulls out a small stack of coin-shaped objects of myriad materials. They lift it, hesitating, before placing the entire stack in the bartender's hand. The stack contains ten coins of gold bearing the mark of a dragon on one side, eight coins of iron with identical rust patterns, and fourteen coins of glass. If the bartender has ever taken Vethusian currency, they know these to be Half-Dragonmarks, Rustmarks, and Glassmarks, and are equivalent to 10 gp, 8 sp, and 14 cp.
Baron then takes the key, flips it in his hand and nods to the bartender, and goes back upstairs to his new room.

The currency seems to vanish a moment after it touches the bartender's hand. He finds his new room tidy, as if it were recently cleaned.
Baron takes a look around their new surroundings, and places his stuff where they feels that it belongs. After fifteen or so minutes, he comes back downstairs and tries to find Sarana.
She's sitting at a table towards the middle of the room.
They walk over to her, and sit down at the chair opposite hers. He looks a bit sheepish, but at the same time oddly self-assured, as they engage her in conversation. "Hi, sorry for barging off earlier; bit rude, no? My fault, I was a bit irritable at the time. Sarana, right?"
She nods. "I understand. What's your name?"

Please?"
