She walks over to the tiefling "Whats nearby here? Any interesting places to explore?"

"Would you like to buy a map? We sell them for three silver."

"Yes, please"

The tiefling reaches behind the bar, looks around for a moment, and then holds out a map of the nearby area.

She hands her a gold "Thank you"

"You're welcome." The tiefling hands back seven silver.

"Its fine. You can keep it. Do you know if theres an infernal portal nearby?"

"If you'd like to leave a tip, then we have a jar for that. Otherwise, accepting more than the cost would rude. And yes, there is one nearby, but it's one-way only."

She nods slowly, putting the money in the jar. "If you could tell her" she motions to Lily "The portal location, that would be helpful"

"Of course. We always try to help our customers."

"Thank you." She begins looking over the map

*It's the map I recently made, basically, except it looks professional.*

She will mount Dakota, and begin heading in the direction of the ruinous keep

*Does she head around the woods, or directly through them?*

*Through*

For the first few minutes, there's not much trouble. But soon the trees become thicker, and more tightly packed together. Not long after, a sense of tangible foreboding seems to hang in the air, like every breath might disturb some ancient being or twisted creature of the wood.

(Hmm... How interesting...) She thinks, beginning to move slower, and looking around carefully

She feels a strange but very palpable sense that she is being watched. Every time she looks away, the trees seem to move just a little closer, and the branches seem to curl just a little further down.

Detect magic, looking mostly towards the trees

The spell doesn't detect anything unusual besides her own equipment. Oh, and the trail of footprints next to her, which practically gleams with transmutation magic.

Which direction do the footprints appear to be going?

Krathian the second is in the main room, trying very hard to figure out what the [GP] he's supposed to do.

Jim is trying to remember something, the problem is he can't remember what. He's blacked out twice now and apparently can't remember what happened immediately beforehand.

Seferis is looking for a new client, because his old one made the fatal mistake of deciding not to show.

She doesn't see any. However, she sees a small sign on the wall that says "Any information about Entropy available upon request."

She walks over to the tiefling "Whats nearby here? Any interesting places to explore?"

"Would you like to buy a map? We sell them for three silver."

"Yes, please"

The tiefling reaches behind the bar, looks around for a moment, and then holds out a map of the nearby area.

She hands her a gold "Thank you"

"You're welcome." The tiefling hands back seven silver.

"Its fine. You can keep it. Do you know if theres an infernal portal nearby?"

"If you'd like to leave a tip, then we have a jar for that. Otherwise, accepting more than the cost would rude. And yes, there is one nearby, but it's one-way only."

She nods slowly, putting the money in the jar. "If you could tell her" she motions to Lily "The portal location, that would be helpful"

"Of course. We always try to help our customers."

"Thank you." She begins looking over the map

*It's the map I recently made, basically, except it looks professional.*

She will mount Dakota, and begin heading in the direction of the ruinous keep

*Does she head around the woods, or directly through them?*

*Through*

For the first few minutes, there's not much trouble. But soon the trees become thicker, and more tightly packed together. Not long after, a sense of tangible foreboding seems to hang in the air, like every breath might disturb some ancient being or twisted creature of the wood.

(Hmm... How interesting...) She thinks, beginning to move slower, and looking around carefully

*Roll Perception.*

She feels a strange but very palpable sense that she is being watched. Every time she looks away, the trees seem to move just a little closer, and the branches seem to curl just a little further down.

Detect magic, looking mostly towards the trees

The spell doesn't detect anything unusual besides her own equipment. Oh, and the trail of footprints next to her, which practically gleams with transmutation magic.

Which direction do the footprints appear to be going?

The same direction she is traveling.

Do they seem to go on ahead of her, as if something passed through, or like standing by her?

Ahead.

Shes going to change direction a bit, as to not move directly to it

*How does she change direction?*

Around 10 degrees more East
